Psychedelic Art or the art movement behind it began in the 1960s. Inspired by psychedelic experiences and hallucinations after the consumption of LSD, the subcultural movement created artworks with a strong emphasis on fluorescent colors. Acid Yellow, Electric Pink, Hot Orange Red: there were and are many ways to express yourself on a trip through uniquely luminous colors. Beautiful, abstract, at once stunning and powerful, Psychedelic Art really made a lasting impression on us.
